I am in a tunnel and even though I see the light at the end of the tunnel I keep getting sidetrack from that light(my goals). And now is my time to focus on those goals. So I should get busy instead of rambling about my goals. Right?
Anyway here is some more of that rambling that I am so good at. I started a new semester of college and am very excited about the classes I am taking. Of course Creative Writing, Young Adult Literature and British Literature are all right up my alley and of course Spanish too (well, maybe not as much into that class).
This week in my Young Adult Literature Class we are reading The Giver by Lois Lowry, I read the book many years and it is nice to start the semester with a book that I am familiar with and enjoy.
I even read half of it with a peppermint mocha in one setting:
I also convinced my son to read it when I am finished with it for class, I think he will enjoy it and there will be a lot of great reading to pass onto him during this semester.
Anyway it is Friday and well it is my project update day and I am working really hard to get my first self-published novel up on Amazon and all the other sites, it is just that the focus and editing thing are kind of working against each other. I just need to start chanting FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS when I get distracted by something.
But it is coming. And soon.
I am also starting the writing on the second book in the series and can’t wait to get it up as well.
I hope everyone has had a great week.
Blah, ignore that cliché in the first sentence, because well apparently the grammar check does not like it. But well I am going to just use it this once.

I’ve never read that book. I will have to check it out. Hope you have a wonderful semester!!
