Day 4 – 5,000 More Words and a Bit of Motivation – 30 Day Publishing Blueprint

So take a deep breath, you’ve gotten over a huge hurdle and are past your first 10,000 words. It is a great feeling and you just have to keep on going, keep writing and get your baby out there. Today in the 30 Day Publishing Blueprint you are going to write 5,000 more words, your story should be flowing and you always have your guide that tells you what you should be going on if you get sidetracked. Personally at this point, I have written so much and am itching to get back to more.

Now some things to remember while you write your book:

• Show, Don’t Tell – Don’t tell your readers what is going on in your work, show them.
• Make your dialogue snappy – Make it quick and don’t have too much dialogue in a scene.
• Keep it new – Once you give a bit of information at length, don’t give it to your reader over and over again.

Now get out there and write those 5,000 word and be sure to keep work on building your team.
